I finally got paid by Google adsense. It was $112, at the end of december. Ever since then, the earnings are growing steadily. I really like the desktop utility SysSense, it makes accessing my google account very easy and I check earnings regularlly.
In this post, I intend to share some tips and facts about Google Adsense that can help maximize earnings for you.
Made For Adsense Sites
MFA are short for Made for Adsense Sites. These sites are just that; made for adsense, they fill up their webpages with Google Ads, using high paying keywords, and earn money from the clicks generated. How do they affect you? The site builders of buy cheap keywords from Google AdWords and their ads might be displayed on your blog/site. When your visitor clicks on the ad, you are paid a very minimal amount, and the user is redirected to MFA site, which don't contain almost anything valuable, so the user normally exits by clicking on the ads and they get paid.
You can use Google's feature "Competitive filter" to avoid MFA's from appearing on your site. Visit Ads BlackList and find MFA sites in your niche. They maintain a list of known MFA websites. You can copy the sites and ad them to your competitive ad filter. At the moment, you can only upto 200 sites.
Google Section Ad Targeting
If there are certain keywords that you want to target, enclose them between these tags, e.g. I want to target "Earn Money Online" then I would enclose these words in a sentence:
Do you want to Earn Money Online?
If there are some words that you don't want to target, but write posts on it, you can simply enclose the entire text using these tags.
Remember, the more content your site/blog has, the more visitors will visit, and more clicks will be generated.
